About us

Pizzeria Ristorante All'Emanuel Vittorio is at Via Vittorio Emanuele II 105A in the centre of Chieri, on the same street as the Baroque church of Santa Margherita. Locals have known it for a long time: reviews keep calling it a “historic place” and “a historic Chieri sure bet”.

The wood-fired oven is the heart of the house. The dining room has kept its old-school look: wood-panelled walls, a panelled grid ceiling, white and orange tablecloths. Guests describe it as a family-run place you come to for the pizza and the farinata.

Alongside the pizzeria there is a traditional kitchen, and there is private parking for customers.

Specialities

What comes out of our wood-fired oven, and what guests keep coming back for.

  • Golden, crisp farinata cut into wedges on a white plate

    Farinata

The chickpea flatbread, baked in the wood-fired oven. It is the most-mentioned dish in reviews: “superb”, “sublime”, “spectacular”.

  • Tomato pizza with crumbled sausage, basil and a whole burrata in the middle

    Stone-baked and pan pizza

Two styles from the same oven: thin and baked on the oven floor (“al mattone”), or thicker in a pan (“al tegamino”). Classic, without a big puffy rim.

  • Pizza with black vegetable-charcoal dough, prosciutto crudo and walnut halves

    Alternative doughs

Besides the classic dough: whole spelt, multigrain, kamut and, since 2023, vegetable charcoal.

  • White pizza topped with fresh figs, prosciutto crudo and walnuts

    Figs, Parma ham and walnuts

Pizza with figs, Parma ham aged 16 months and walnuts: one of the pizzas you can also find on our Instagram.

Not just pizza

The card on the tables says “traditional cooking”: guests mention spaghetti with clams, octopus with potatoes, the house seafood starter, porcini mushrooms and home-made desserts, from tiramisù to bunet.

The full menu and current prices are available at the pizzeria or by phone.
